Getting Started
Creating an AI is your entry point into personalized AI. Start by thinking about what you want this AI to focus on—work, health, learning, or something else. Give it a clear name and add initial context through docs or notes. Your AI learns from these inputs, so be specific about what matters.
Best Practices
Notes capture insights, decisions, and learnings in your own words. Write notes as you work—after meetings, after research, after breakthroughs. Mark them as drafts or final. Over time, these notes become the AI's understanding of your priorities and patterns. Short, specific notes compound over time.
Context drift happens when irrelevant information clouds this AI’s memory. Keep this AI tightly focused—remove or archive outdated docs. Regularly review what you’ve saved. Name things clearly so retrieval works well. A focused, well-organized AI delivers better answers than a messy, overstuffed one.
The memory map visualizes relationships between your knowledge chunks, showing how concepts connect and evolve. Nodes represent ideas, edges show how they relate. Pin important memories to keep them active. Archive fading knowledge. This visual approach helps you see gaps and strengthen your AI's overall memory structure.
Documents are the backbone of grounded memory. Upload PDFs, Word docs, or images to your AI. Organize them in folders by topic or project. Aimry extracts text and chunks documents automatically, making them searchable and contextual. Quality documents make better AI responses—so choose thoughtfully.
Don't create one massive base. Instead, separate bases by life domain—Work, Health, Finance, Study, Projects, etc. Each base maintains its own focused memory. This prevents context confusion and keeps your AI sharp in each area. Use sub-bases within a main base for additional organization.
Pin memories you want the AI to always consider. Archive memories that fade in relevance. Tag important concepts. Use sub-bases to partition knowledge hierarchically. Understand recency, importance, and confidence scoring. These tools let you fine-tune how your AI's memory evolves.
Product Updates
Aimry now features enhanced memory visualization with the new memory map interface. Live web retrieval lets your AI pull current information when needed. Improved embedding models make semantic search more accurate. Sub-bases now support custom naming. Faster ingestion for large documents.
The memory map is now live for all users. See how your knowledge chunks relate visually. Click nodes to see details. Drag to reorganize. Use the map to discover gaps in your knowledge. This feature surfaces relationships you might not see in raw notes or documents.
Guides
Create a Work base for ongoing projects. Upload project briefs, meeting notes, research. Add decisions as they're made. Your AI becomes a project partner that remembers context. Use it for meeting prep, document analysis, and decision support. Multiple team members can contribute notes to shared bases.
Start with your fitness goals and current level. Upload workout plans, nutrition info, or health articles. Add notes on how you feel, energy levels, recovery. Your AI learns your preferences and constraints. Get tailored advice for workouts, nutrition, and recovery—grounded in your actual data.
Document your income, expenses, assets, and goals. Add bank statements or financial articles. Capture decisions you've made about money. Your AI becomes a financial thinking partner that understands your situation. Use it for budget analysis, investment questions, and financial planning.
Create a Study base for any subject. Upload course materials, textbooks, or articles. Take notes as you learn. Your AI tracks what you know and identifies weak spots. Get practice questions targeted to your gaps. Use saved chats to review key concepts. Learning compounds over time.
Sub-bases let you partition large domains into focused sub-topics. Create a Finance base with sub-bases for Investing, Budgeting, and Taxes. Create a Work base with sub-bases for each major project. This hierarchy keeps memory sharp while staying organized.
FAQs
Yes. Go to AI settings and choose delete. All documents, notes, chats, and memory associated with that base are permanently removed. There's a confirmation step. Deletion is irreversible, so make sure you've exported any critical data first.
Free plan: 1 base, 50 BMUs of memory, limited chats. Pro: $15/mo for 5 bases, 500 BMUs, ~200 chats/month. Prime: $30/mo for 10 bases, 1500 BMUs, ~600 chats/month. All plans include your data privacy guarantee—we never train models on your data.
Yes. Your data is never used to train AI models. It's stored securely and only accessible to you. Admins can't browse your AIs. We don't sell or share your data. Encryption is used in transit and at rest. See our privacy policy for full details.
A base is a top-level AI instance with its own memory and context. A sub-base is a child of a parent base, inheriting some structure but maintaining separate memory. Use bases for major life domains. Use sub-bases to organize within a domain.
Go to AI settings and choose "Invite members." Enter email addresses and assign roles (Viewer or Editor). They'll get an invite link. Once they accept, they can see and contribute to the shared base. You control permissions per member.
Yes. Go to AI settings and choose "Export." You can download all documents, notes, and chat histories as JSON or CSV. This gives you a portable copy of your AI's data. Useful for backup or migration.
